The Fueled Fashion & Art Gala was created to illuminate the powerful ways the energy industry shapes and intertwines with our daily lives. This one-of-a-kind event showcases Houston’s energy sector through the vibrant lens of fashion and art, offering an innovative and uplifting perspective on an industry that fuels the world.
More than a celebration of energy, the Fueled Fashion & Art Gala serves as a platform for purpose. By merging creativity with industry, the event not only inspires meaningful dialogue—it also supports nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in the community.
**SEEKING ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS**
The Fueled Fashion & Art Gala is a showcase of the energy industry through artistic design and innovation. Fashion designers will have the opportunity to submit unique and wearable art. Artists will have the opportunity to use various art mediums to create unique table centerpieces, wall art and backdrops. All designs and art must incorporate aspects of the energy industry.
Artists may submit up to two (2) art pieces that incorporate aspects of the energy industry and is an original and unique design for a table centerpiece, sculpture, or wall art from any combination of art mediums based on the given specs.
Submissions must include:
- At least two (2) images of the artwork for table centerpieces and sculptures – front and back.
- At least one full image of the artwork for wall art.
- At least two images or video of the preliminary artwork in progress.
Designers may submit up to two (2) designs that incorporate aspects of the energy industry and is an artistic and wearable piece in the form of costume (think MET Gala).
Designs will be displayed in a fashion show at the event.
Submissions must include:
- At least three (3) images of the design(s) on a model or mannequin – front pose, back pose and one side pose.
- The size of the design according to the sizing chart.
- At least two images or video of the preliminary design(s) in progress.
JUDGING & SILENT AUCTION
Artwork and fashion designs selected for showcase at the gala will be placed in a silent auction and the highest bidder will have the option to place the artwork or design on display at his/her business, residence or other location (at his/her discretion).
Designs will be judged according to the following standards:*
- 50% – Use of Energy Industry Materials
- 50% – Artistic Creativity and Innovation
*Artists and Fashion Designers may set a suggested minimum bid for each piece.
*Items such as perishable food, ice, etc. are not acceptable mediums.
*No AI generated art.
FRIDAY HARBOUR
Friday Harbour is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to healing cancer one night at a time by providing housing to patients and families seeking care at cancer centers located in the Texas Medical Center.

NAMI Greater Houston is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization established in 1988 by a group of dedicated and caring family members of those living with difficult, yet treatable, mental illnesses. In founding NAMI Greater Houston, these family members sought to establish a grassroots organization that would address the increasing need for families and persons affected by mental illness to have a powerful voice in the mental health community.
